 In an ever-evolving industry, The Garment Grind has broken down the barriers of traditional factory manufacturing by minimizing overhead costs and large scale machinery investments.  Owner Lilien Perito saw an opportunity to provide affordable quality with quick turnarounds for her customers while also creating a work from home lifestyle for herself and her family.  Launching during a global pandemic wasn't easy but it has definitely been worth the rollercoaster ride.

As the former Associate Publisher of Long Island Pulse magazine Lilie's background in advertising, marketing and design allowed her to create one of the largest regional magazines in the United States.  Her eye for design and love of fashion was a natural progression.  Inspired to provide white glove service and pristine attention to detail with a more artisan strategy, the Garment Grind emerged.

 

Launching a business during a global pandemic brought its challenges and served as no better time to launch her own brand, a secret passion she had been sitting on for years!
